Arts Inclusion
Arts Inclusion is one of a number of programs and organizations that CAC supports in some way. Arts programs are created to support adults with intellectual disabilities. The goal of 'inclusion' is to have anyone who wants to join!
There are four sessions annually, 10 weeks each, of regular programming annually = 40 weeks. Each session has a number of different classes and workshops offered. Classes include creative drama, video experience (zoom only), musical theatre, acrylic painting and more. There is an annual Arts Festival (often in June) with public performance, an art show and workshops.
Arts Inclusion serves 45 unique individuals plus large networks of professional instructors, families and caregivers. Its annual Arts Festival has hosted up to 60 unique individuals plus 10 artists, 50 audience members and involved about 60 family members onsite in some capacity.
Classes have sometimes offered on Zoom. For more info go to www.artsinclusion.com .
